 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was born on August 19th, 1965. She is an American actor and producer. Her starring role in TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most popular. Sedgwick was awarded an award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her performance as Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. Her dad was Episcopalian and of English descent. Sedgwick has declared herself Jewish and has stated that she is a part of Passover seders.
